Trekking in Nepal is generally safe, even for solo travelers, provided you take necessary precautions. Stick to well-trodden trails like the Annapurna Circuit or Everest Base Camp, where there are plenty of other trekkers. Hiring a local guide or joining a trekking group can enhance your safety and enrich your experience. Make sure to acclimatize properly to avoid altitude sickness and carry a basic first aid kit. Always check weather conditions and trail updates before setting out.
I also want to know if i can travel to Nepal for hiking with children..do i need to appoint any special guide?
